Dr. Roxana Y. Godiwalla is a board-eligible ophthalmologist with advanced fellowship training
in cornea and external diseases, Dr. Godiwalla brings a wealth of experience, compassion, and
dedication to comprehensive eye care. Her clinical expertise includes cataract surgery, anterior
segment and ocular surface disease management, and corneal transplantation.

Dr. Godiwalla earned her medical degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic
Medicine after studying Spanish Literature and Biology at the University of Wisconsin. She
completed her internship at Naval Medical Center San Diego, where she was honored as
Transitional Intern of the Year, and her ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of
Wisconsin. She then completed a prestigious fellowship in Cornea and External Diseases at
the UCLA Doheny Eye Institute.

Before her career in ophthalmology, Dr. Godiwalla served with distinction as a Naval
Physician, supporting multiple Marine Corps units and participating in humanitarian missions
around the world. Her military service earned her several commendations, and she contributed
to executive leadership in Navy Medicine at Camp Pendleton.

Dr. Godiwalla is known for her patient-centered approach, focusing on clear communication
and personalized care. She is passionate about helping patients understand their eye health
and guiding them through their treatment options with empathy and precision.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Godiwalla is also an avid traveler and enjoys surfing,
spending time with her dogs, and being with her family.
