A native of Los Angeles County, Dr. Apeksha Shah is a comprehensive ophthalmologist dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered eye care. She earned her undergraduate degree at UC Irvine (graduating with Phi Beta Kappa honors) before attending Saint Louis University School of Medicine, an institution known for its strong emphasis on humanistic medicine - where she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She then returned home to the West Coast to complete her residency at the Loma Linda University Eye Institute—a program renowned for pioneering innovative cataract surgical techniques.

Dr. Shah specializes in a broad range of comprehensive eye conditions, combining state-of-the-art medical and surgical management with individualized care. Her clinical expertise includes cataracts, medical glaucoma and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), dry eye disease, pterygium, diabetic retinopathy, and minor eyelid lesion excisions.

An active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Shah is deeply committed to clear communication and accessible care for her patients. To serve her diverse community, she offers consultations in English, Spanish, Gujarati, and Hindi.
