Dr. Pratik Patel is an ophthalmologist specializing in medical retina, comprehensive ophthalmology, and cataract surgery. He is dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized eye care and working collaboratively with referring providers to ensure patients receive the specialized treatment they need.

A Southern California native from Diamond Bar, Dr. Patel earned his undergraduate degree from UCLA before completing his medical degree and ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate. He went on to complete his fellowship training at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.

Dr. Patel is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, and American Society of Retina Specialists. He speaks English, is proficient in Spanish, and has elementary proficiency in Gujarati and Hindi.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Patel enjoys basketball, soccer, hiking, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and film.
