Judy Hamouie grew up in Houston, Texas. She completed her undergraduate education at Baylor University, earning a bachelor of science in neuroscience. She then went on to complete a master of science in cell biology and worked as a researcher in the department of ophthalmology at University of Illinois at Chicago. Her research focused on the cornea, upon which she published several papers. Switching to a clinical modality, Dr. Hamouie moved to Southern California to pursue her doctorate in optometry. She completed extensive clinical training in the management of ocular disease and takes immense pride in providing the highest quality of care to her patients.
