Dr. Joseph Pak grew up in Seoul, South Korea and immigrated to the United States. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the University of California, San Diego. Then, Dr. Pak attended Western University College of Optometry and obtained his doctoral degree in optometry. He enjoys working with patients of all ages to provide comprehensive eye care and fit specialty contact lenses. Dr. Pak is certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease and glaucoma.

While Dr. Pak is actively working as an eye care clinician, he also serves in the California Army National Guard. He has responded to various state of emergencies such as wildfires and the COVID pandemic. Dr. Pak supports joint military training between the U.S. Army and the ROK Army in South Korea. In his free time, Dr. Pak enjoys the outdoors, traveling and cooking.
